The ICSYS project enters in the global field of e-learning, for which there seems to be universal agreement that the worldwide market will show fast and significant growth over the next three years. This project is precisely at the intersection of learning plat-forms and the use of mobile devices, since it concerns a mobile on-line recognition system, that can be used on the one hand by young children when learning how to write, or by Learning Management System for transmitting information between a student and a teacher, in the context of a distant learning system.
